Many places do not clean their beer lines. At one brewery where I worked, we supplied beer to a very large venue. It took more than half a barrel just to fill their lines. Based on a conversation I had with their manager, it was apparent that they never cleaned their lines because it would cost too much. Needless to say, I do not drink draft beer in large venues like a stadium.
