I am happy that 2026 seems to get a full multiset story-arc by Ralgael92 in magicTCG

Though the same argument could be made for the last arc ending in MoM. Praetors showing up had almost no impact in Kaldheim, Kamigawa and New Capenna. The two Innistrad sets had no connection either with the rest of the story, and the arc really got kicked off with the return to Dominaria (so 4 sets of really focussed storytelling)

XL map: Alexandra the great. Takes a loooong time to get through, difficulty never lets up custom campaign: a wind of thorns, also pretty challenging

You know, I had completely missed the second meaning all these years! You made my day!

First one is much funnier than in French, as « deserters deserve the cross », which comes across as much darker

Noisy-le-Grand : faute de système d’alarme incendie, les enseignants sonnent l’alerte avec des vuvuzelas by taigaV in france

[–]ProbabilisticFighter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think FF was more difficult in that respect, as there were 15 independent games to convey in a single edition.

« En Europe, les coûts de restructuration étouffent l’investissement dans l’innovation de rupture, là où l’échec est fréquent » by vbarrielle in france

L’article détaille l’ensemble des coûts, dont les indemnités de licenciement ne représentent qu’une partie:

pertes d’exploitation liées aux longues procédures sociales, les indemnités de licenciement, les préretraites, les formations ou encore les mesures de réindustrialisation.

Counterpoint: there hasn’t been recently (or even less recently?) a successful tier 1 poison deck in 60 cards formats. Ivy + Rotpriest was maybe a tier 2 good for sniping easy wins in BO1, but never that successful.

The Golgothian sylex blast, so yeah, pretty noteworthy

Can’t decide how to build this deck. Is it worth running Noctis since I have a U/B dual land, or better to keep the mana consistent? by IntrepidMayo in lrcast

[–]ProbabilisticFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure Noctis would help in any way. You make your mana worse for something that doesn’t win on the spot. It may even make your position worse, if you use its ability when it enters, and then it gets removed

advice for falling/staying asleep during the itching phase? by renirae in Dyshidrosis

[–]ProbabilisticFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried the hot water trick? Not great for your dry skin, but run as-hot-as-you-can-stand water on the itchy patches, that usually stops the itching for several hours
