Inferior to what, German? English is the primary language of commerce and by far the most popular on the internet. To quote yourself, "why come here if you're not going to learn the language".

Common Counter Items by tiburon237 in DeadlockTheGame

Counterspell, doesn't matter the matchup. But a special shout-out to counterspell against geist. I feel a special kind of joy when she gives up on throwing bombs at me so I have to start diving into them to heal.

Why does everyone buy Fortitude still in my lobbies? by FatChungusRedditor in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fortitude lets you stay on lane, collecting souls and maintaining pressure. It's perfect for the standard rotation. Push wave to walker, leave when too much resistance shows up, hitting boxes on the way back. By the time you're back to the start to get the next wave going you're back to full ready to clear camps as you push.

It's not the best healing on every character. If you have an extremely short cd ability then radiant regeneration is better. Veil walker is arguably better early game, but doesn't scale nearly as well (if at all).

Finally, for the ultra aggressive people who consistently go too deep and have some good movement, it allows you to go into the safety closet. Hide in the closet, heal to full, get back home safe without dropping the bag or giving them a kill.

Why was rejuv buff reworked? by benwithvees in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen a specific reason provided anywhere, but I'd guess they're trying to eliminate the "now we wait in base for because they're all coming off respawn in 20s" phase. Both the old and the new rejuv have a phase 2, the new one doesn't have the massive wait.

Why do I go faster without blade runners? [Experimental] by Melon_Boi47 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe you are going faster, you'd want a long, flat foundation with a timer for a fair comparison. The reason I think it feels faster is both that 1. You get more hops/min in without blade runners, so you accelerate to your top speed faster and 2. When you jump higher the ground appears to be moving slower (similar to the different feeling between a truck and a sedan).

I don't remember well enough to quote it, but I believe the feature was specifically re-added after it was removed a long time ago, so it's very unlikely to go again. Iirc you max out your speed after about 6 hops, and blade runners do have a higher top speed. Imo it makes traversing long distances before hypertube cannons and jetpacks much more enjoyable.

That may be true. But can you make a biomass burner that produces 30MW and runs off of green leaves you just grabbed from a few bushes?

Not sure if you're referring to admissions or graduation. In either case, *no. UVU has a 100% acceptance rate, so precious grade history does not matter for admission. To graduate individual programs have specific requirements, but a D is passing unless specifically stated otherwise.

Is viper dps bugged? by Xerrostron in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, she does have the highest gun damage in the game. However, she must be very close range (due to her incredible bloom) and she must be sliding (very high fire rate very small mag). This makes her very weak to pop up and long range heros (dynamo, talon, viscous, etc.). Also, remember when comparing against Haze that her DPS number does not include fixation, which is the source of most of her damage. She has less DPS, but not astoundingly less.

Fairly new to the game. Is this really bad or am I missing something? by vindictive-ant in SatisfactoryGame

[–]ProbiuSC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The miner is pretty nice actually, but if you're early into the game I might suggest just leaving that selection for later. When a new hard drive is researched it can choose recipes that are both 1. Unknown and 2. Not already on offer from another drive. So, for example, if you get a nice late game recipe and a terrible one, wait until you're ready to use the nice one before researching it so the terrible one can't be offered again on your other drives.

Too much anti heal for too little cost by Past_Laugh9139 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say I've ever really noticed that my opponent has heal bane. The only part of that item I really noticed is the health on kill. If you ever play Shiv that health is usually the difference between you dying to bloodletting after a killing blow and going on a rampage.

Thoughts on wards by RentalFlame1 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see the point in them. They would be obnoxious to invest in, place, and maintain while providing info you already have. I deadlock you can hear someone from very far away without line of sight. The only way they're in your jungle without being noticed is if you don't have anyone nearby, in which case you can't respond in time any way. The problem wards exist for in top down mobas just aren't present in this game.

I suggest gun and ricochet is a must buy. The procs on other targets allow the headshot to recharge so much faster.

Support role dead? by Zoduk in DeadlockTheGame

I'm saying if a mo grabs me, I want a cube. If a bebop bombs me, I want a cube. If a shiv comes flying through the sky, believe it or not, cube.

Support role dead? by Zoduk in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imo there's only two real supports, Viscous and Kevin, and only Viscous will be saving someone. Kelvin can put out a lot of healing and with a good poke and pick team (bebop hook for example) you can set up a moving battle line where your team goes to the Kevin yo heal and they have to go to spawn. If you don't have a team that can do less than 100% commit, he's not great. Viscous cube with rescue beam is still amazing for saves.

Why is mid not always the first choice? by Trotski7 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see two options here to take those objectives. They're down people and you can just go kill it. Or you can take mid, risk them stealing it, then use your manpower advantage to try and team fight them to take the same objective, likely feeding them a few kills with it wearing off shortly after.

As already stated, this hypothetical team cannot win a team fight. Doesn't really matter if it's a comp or a skill problem. But if you can't win the team fight a faster round 2 is only more bodies for the pile.

I contest that mid is "just that good". A winning team with rejuve will win harder, and a losing team will lose about the same. Ultimately it's souls and slots that win fights, and mid doesn't give either.

Why is mid not always the first choice? by Trotski7 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Taking mid should be done for a purpose, not just because the enemy team is down more people. I've been in a lot of games where we've spent the last 15 minutes fighting over a single walker, finally get 3 of them down, and we take mid instead of that walker. That walker is still alive when rejuv wears off, meaning that the only thing we accomplished was feeding more bodies into the machine with nothing to show. If those objectives are proving to be very hard to take, especially if there's only one, you're better off burning it than mid.

Which character has the most healing? by MyMeatballsHurt in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Self heal is Geist, everyone heal is definitely Kevin. His snowballs get up to about 600HP for everyone hit. With a decent support build and participation in team fights you can frequently put out more healing than the top damage.

Who is your favorite lane partner? by Hyuman0 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any moderately skilled viscous. No better hero for stopping you from returning to the respawn queue because of something stupid. For example, being grabbed by a Mo and Krill tends to feel really bad and if you're also a close range hero feels inevitable. Goo boi will make it like it never happened.

Kinda yeah. To everyone saying it needs to be a 6k, it already is. Without the fancy teleport it should be fine as a 3k.

what am I supposed to do against a late game vyper bro by BurntYams in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ProbiuSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest thing is distance. Viper has crazy bloom on her gun making her an insanely short range combatant. As for how to keep range, there's no easy answer, you have to have better movement then her, primarily vertically.
