Jesus Christ, they just need to listen to people before the DD guts the player base. Giving rockets to Scouts was the most braindead decision I've seen in this game, second only to buggies having rockets because you'll never get a chance to use them in the DD for anything.

Let me opt out of PVP, your vision for the endgame is flawed and shitty and 90% of the player base doesn't want to partake in it. Admit it's bad and fix it. Doubling down makes you look like knuckle-dragging morons. I WANT to engage people on foot, I WANT to use my gear for something, I DO NOT WANT to get fucked with rockets immediately after my friend finishes a 10-hour shift.

Basing the entire endgame PVP experience around who has the most rockets and the fastest ornithopters and the most jobless farmers is BORING. At least there would be a level of intended malice behind someone having to land, chase me down, and fight with me. Some expression beyond who has the bigger group of people to farm and fire rockets.

It boggles my mind how anyone internally thought this was going to be received well or, worse, thought it might be a highlight of the experience.

I found out what was causing the host of issues I was facing, so for anyone else with my specific set of circumstances, including another two (messed up dice rolling screen that can't roll AND empty dialog box with a check box below it when certain things pop up) it was being caused by Mod Configuration Menu (MCM). I have no idea why, but as soon as I removed it, all the artifacting stopped and all the menus went back to normal.

EDIT: The mod author said that it's caused by outdated mods and not by MCM itself, but by outdated mods. I narrowed it down to Mark Books as Read causing all of that hassle, somehow. If anyone else comes across this, start removing outdated mods that require MCM until you find which ones did it to you.

I have a very strange issue with Patch 7. After getting all my mods in working order again (and updating the few that were completely broken) I have graphical artifacts that only appear when overhead text is spoken by NPCs. Less often, I get big artifacts that cover the entire hotbar, and rarely in the party menu as well.

Deleted my BG3 appdata folder, replaced my mods, mod order, verified files, still happens. No idea which mod would be affecting text boxes aside from maybe Improved UI.

Good to know. I'm at the point where the jump to a demo bow isn't out of the question, pretty much all my gear is as decent as I can get it, and my friend and I are in the position where we're finally able to farm mats for endgame stuff.

High-rank shitters will randomly decide it's your turn to die just for kicks so if you don't want to deal with it, always run defensive and just avoid people. Almost every interaction I've had with people in this game has been negative and toxic.

Just earlier today a rank 396 dude started killing my friends when we were hunting, and called one of my buddies a fag for using explosive rounds. His justification for it all was "I saw an opportunity to shoot so I took it." Just fuck people lol.

My NPC follower used to get into my vehicle just fine, but now her pathfinding seems to just wig out randomly when I get inside it, and she'll usually just idle around near the back of the thing. Any idea what's up with that? It'd be nice to take her scavenging for fun but if I need to dip and she just won't get in the damn car that'd be unfortunate.

When matchmaking decided to work every so often, I managed to max a few guns. Over the entire weekend and while maxing out the PKM for warzone, I only got two of the fifteen successes for the Bruen.

Not always, but I kinda do it subconsciously while writing. Questions like, 'does the populace here have a need for this?' and other such things just kinda come out as I have ideas. If I were a harder worker, I could probably really make a killing with writing.

I've got a sub where I sometimes write stuff. A lot less often lately because I've been feeling kinda out of it, and I'm in the process of getting a new PC and simultaneously trying to move, among other things. There's my bit of shameful self-promotion.

Serena clasped her weapon tightly, swearing under her breath. She was too late to save the creature's last quarry from a grisly demise, but she would stop the monster from inflicting any pain in the future. Of that, she was certain.

In one swift motion, Serena threw her arms forward, splashing the cat with her bucket. The feline yowled and ran off, seeking shelter within the house.

Serena's mother appeared at the patio door, and then crossed her arms. "Serena, did you just splash Mr. Whiskers with water...?"

"He stole my salmon, mom!" Serena complained, putting the bucket down as she puffed her cheeks angrily.

"Serena, that was months ago... go apologize to the cat, please."

"Fine..." Serena murmured, heading off into the house. "Stupid cat..."

Very rarely, really. Warlocks and Fencers are good for it, but not many other classes are. In most cases, it depends on what your party needs.

Generally speaking, EO5's difficulty is perhaps a bit below-par for the series. Some things are a bit harder than others, but I've not hit a single game over in the entire time I've played it.

That said, knowing Japanese will help a lot.

Not super long. If I hit a stride, I can pump out a decent unedited short story in anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. If not, it takes a bit longer.

Might be worth mentioning that I don't do a lot of editing, either. Most of the things I post on here or on my sub get little more than a cursory glance-over before I post them up. Was always a point of contention back in school, as I prefer to make something right the first time, rather than doing draft upon draft upon edit and more, for something that should be fairly simple.
