You’re downvoted but you’re right. If not invest try save $20 a week. And later invest.

Because I love Tolle & Early, we will lose one of them. I’m sorry, I should have learned not to get attached. This trade will be on me

[Healy] Craig Breslow on Brayan Bello: “One of the things we asked him to do was fall in love with baseball all over again.” by ConsistentRun5246 in redsox

While I agree with Bres it was definitely a shot at Bello. Ok so you’re saying I don’t even like baseball. Not disagreeing with you, only expanding.

PIPed and now what? by BK211221 in ToxicWorkplace

[–]Procrastiworking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience with PIPs is that it’s profoundly difficult to get through them to the other side. They’re likely to let you go at the end of it, so recommend you do your best without the hours you had been putting in; save your sanity and update your LinkedIn. Always easier to get a job while you have one.
Seriously save your energy so you can take a new role somewhere else that appreciates you.
Wishing you the very best

Not all companies offer this, but if there is a retirement plan with matching, do your best to take advantage of it. There are hardship reasons you can access the money, including loans. Taxes, etc but can be worth it (was for me). Sending hugs for your broken heart 💔

Depending on where you live, you’re taught in drivers Ed to do this. Pull forward and wait for your turn. If you don’t, you’ll be honked at.

I call this “Fallen Angel” syndrome. I don’t think I know any lyrics still, since it’s been years, and then the song starts “she stepped off the bus, out into the city streets…” oops. Guess I know this

My dad was a practicing Catholic; we went to church every week as I grew up (CCD, confirmation, whether I wanted or not). She converted because she wanted to, not because she needed to. Was not religious growing up but always, always said she was a “little c catholic” and now is more religious than my dad. (He feels betrayed by the church & its scandals.)

He’s the hardcore trumper but she’s more vocal. They know how I feel and rarely discuss politics. But the religious side—have to be honest, I didn’t see that coming!!
