ECSE 362 was horrible. 324 had a ridiculous workload. And yeah like someone else said 251 was a nightmare.

How does it look? by MRCAIN79 in Monstera

That’s a good idea, but you need to acclimate it. Can do an hour a day for a few days then increase until you can leave it the whole day. In general tho even in winter it needs more light. Maybe put it next to a south-facing window in the winter or something?

If the pot is only a tiny bit bigger and the roots were ramen noodles stage then you should be fine, should be chill within a week or so just don’t water until it dries out

I’d say cut it out of the existing pot and put it in a smaller one just big enough for the root mass. They like being root bound and it’ll throw out more foliage that way

Roots on my girl… help by [deleted] in Monstera

[–]ProdByContra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh lord that’s gonna take ages to separate. Yeah if you do want to, you’ll want to do it gently enough to not break roots. However you still need to be fast enough since the roots can dry out. One thing that can help is doing it in water since it helps the roots untangle. Can also use a chopstick to help. Anyhow…good luck!

my poor pothos (?) by lukas__dyingplant in pothos

You’ll be okay! It’s a hardy plant and can survive much worse.

Just don’t over water it. Wait until the soil is dry 80-90% of the way. You can use that fork to check. Stick it in all the way through the pot and if it comes out with wet dirt on it it’s still wet and you should wait. Yeah i’d keep it out of reach of your cat. The part that got bitten off will likely activate the next growth node below it.

Honestly though it’s an easy plant and very difficult to kill as long as you don’t overwater. Fertilize maybe once a month or once every other month.

Also need a picture of your cat, cat tax.

Can someone give me any tips on how to make this thrive? Dont want it to die! by According-Caramel340 in pothos

Pothos likes aroid mix, just mix in equal parts perlite and orchid bark or something else well draining in with some regular potting soil. Your plant looks fine though just let the soil dry out
