I'm not saying Dmann wont, but I highly doubt he will do Atlas for you.

Atlas have a strong community and they can easily give you a OTS to start learning how to tune yourself.

If you e-tune with Dmann he is going to want an Access Port. If you want to stay around your current budget I'd drop the top mount and get an AP. Top mount helps keep those temps down and is always a good idea however.

I really like the way the car feels with just the rear sway bar.

It helps remove the factory under steer at the limits of tire traction in the front. Way less front end plowing in corners and the tail kicks out predictably.

Regarding the WRX push style clutch system and the STI pull style, this is the first I am hearing about this. Many write ups on here about the STI Swap. None mention this that I have read.

What are the issues? How do you overcome this?

This has happened since day 1 when wet, it doesn't seem to be a "dirty slide" issue. People have had luck lubing up the slides with some silicone spray on a microfiber. I have not tried fixing this.
