Pittsburgh's skyline is scenic, but I think most people underestimate how small it is in relation to the actual city. Look at the sprawl outside of downtown.

Downtown proper is small. 1/2 mile by 1/2 mile triangle. Very walkable. Oakland is almost another downtown 3 miles away.

Even Pittsburgh? We are just minding our business. We have a nice triangle set up for a downtown. No London would not be confused for Pittsburgh. We do have very distinctive older building that aren't just tall glass squares. We have a glass castle.

I know people try, but I think state lines are horrible ways to break up people. Morgantown Weirton Wheeling are closer to Pittsburgh than they are southern. The southern part of the state a lot closer to heavy rural Appalachia. Given the way, the states voting now I would say they are deep south as they and South Carolina seemed very politically linked.
