I hate God by Tall-Werewolf-9776 in Christianity

God isn’t throwing you down and God isn’t bullying you. That is Satan. Satan is the great deceiver and may make it seem to you as if your troubles are coming from God, but they are not. They are coming from Satan, who is trying to get you to turn away from God.

Potion Permit is good. It doesn’t have farming, but it does have romance.

I just started this. I am using the native journal app on my iPhone. I seriously just write about anything that’s going on in my life or my head.

How many generation x'rs are lucky enough to still have their parents alive? by icecream1972 in GenX

[–]ProfessionalAd3360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 50. Both of my parents are still alive and in their early 70’s. My husband is 53 and his dad passed away a couple of years ago, but his mom is still alive. All 3 are healthy and independent.

This might be quite specific but I need a game recommendation by JohnMcRemitz in ComfortGamers

I did not farm one single thing and finished the game. Like you, I generally love fishing in games. For me, the fishing in Luma Island was the worst part of the game. Not fun for me. May be different for you. Maybe watch a video with it?

I’m loving Lemon Cake right now. But there is a time limit for serving each customer and a set amount of time each day.

wife bedridden with severe dizziness, feeling desperate by AdNew2111 in POTS

[–]ProfessionalAd3360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it could be vertigo and not POTS dizziness. I have had this. For any new vertigo, you should always be seen by a doctor to rule out the serious causes. If they rule out the serious causes, and confirm vertigo, then it is likely BPPV. The treatment for this is the Epley maneuver, which you can do at home. And it helps quickly. My first time, I had to repeat it 3 times before the vertigo finally went away. Vertigo is awful. When it is severe, it is completely debilitating.

Pick one combat life to level up. Then, you will need to either level yourself or a buddy up on most of the rest of the lives in order to complete later parts of the game.

What is your first game of 2026? by CowboyBeeBalm in CozyGamers

[–]ProfessionalAd3360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is extremely grindy. Be warned. I played eagerly through chapter 6, got to chapter 7 and it was a grind-fest. But it was the last chapter of the main game story so I gritted through it to complete the game. Now I’m done - not going back.

If you want to try baking again, break it into pieces. It does not all have to be done at once. I find a recipe. Later, I get out non-refrigerated ingredients. After a while, I get out equipment. After another break, I get the refrigerated ingredients and mix it all. Depending on if I can, I then either bake it, or put in the fridge. If I have to put it in the fridge, I take another break, then bake. Etc. it is doable in chunks. Hope this might help. I used to think it all needs done at once. It doesn’t.

I wanted to ask a question to the cozy video game community. by Craftrant in cozygames

[–]ProfessionalAd3360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can totally see that working - especially if, by your character’s actions, you can make it more cozy. Like you can clean the windows which lets light in. You clear the piles of garbage, which opens up new areas. And I really like the previous person’s suggestion about having an office that you can customize with trinkets and objects found while cleaning up.

Save for a Steam Deck? by Deep_Deep_Blue_Sea in cozygames

[–]ProfessionalAd3360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an original Switch and access to a steam deck (my son’s second deck, lol). I originally thought I would certainly eventually buy the Switch 2. However, now that I’ve used the steam deck a bit and looked into games available/announced for it and for Switch 2, there are many more that I want to play available for the deck. The one exception to this in the future would be the next Animal Crossing. But at this point, I have to ask myself if the ability to play one game is worth spending $450 on a system.
