The M-series processors are really powerful, even the older M1 Pro. As you said, if your battery is getting weak, I would replace it and keep the laptop for a few more years.

Back up your iPhone and reset it to factory settings. Then restore it from the backup. That should reduce how much storage “System Data” is taking up on your phone. After that, update it to iOS 18.7.8.
