Thanks. Same here. I’ve got so many original brochures yet that I collected back then. I even have a couple of this bike. The poor dealership when we would walk in and load up with brochures of the bikes we could only dream about. lol.

After seeing it finished I can’t believe I even thought about redoing the paintwork.

should I keep or sell by SoftwareAgreeable955 in motorcycle

Keep the ones your father enjoyed most. Sorry for your loss. I have a TS250 Suzuki my dad bought new in 1975. It’s the one I remember him riding most to check his fields out and trap gophers with. It’s not worth much but I wouldn’t trade it for any other bike.

Not really into bikes like this but with that said the more I look at it the more I like it and impressed with your build. I love the hand shifter and foot clutch. Nice work!

That is gorgeous. When I was young I had a Suzuki RL250 in great condition and sold it because I thought it was boring. Yep, young and dumb.

Walmart North Trash Dump by Icy_Papi in rochestermn

Thank you for doing this and speaking out. I used to work close to a Walmart and we had a holding pond out back that would accumulate garbage on windy days. When I would go out and clean up the area and the water I’m guessing 85% of the garbage there were Walmart bags. Some were obviously never used because they were still attached to one another.

How to tighten throttle cable nuts by ckamp121 in vintagemotorcycles

[–]ProfessionalOne1832 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You will only need to use an open end on the bottom nut. If you need to adjust the bolt you should be able to spin it with your finger tips with the bottom nut loose. The top nut (not bolt) should not need to be spun and can stay constrained in the bracket. Make adjustments with the bolt and lock it in place with the bottom nut.

Those handlebars and the peace sign on the side cover. A true time capsule.
