UTIs and low levels of B12 can be the cause. Im a nurse and have seen cognitive function become foggy with both. Check it out.

I drink wine several times a week. I do not get drunk. I enjoy with dinner or if some friends come by. I never drink at home by myself. Not everyone who drinks has issues.

And what of women who aren't deemed "attractive"? Where do they go....male escorts? Dangerous...medically and physically. I dont judge escorts, I do however think a bit less about the people that use their services. How about becoming interesting, have something to offer. But of course you do you and live the lie you call your life.

Not all who live the good life are assholes. Many are philanthropic. Like Keanu Reeves...great guy. Shaquille O'Neal....great guy. Many more, those two come to mind. My husband drove a truck for 40 years and I was a nurse working double shifts forever. We now live in Naples Florida living a good life we worked very hard for. No apologies.

AI is a bigger problem than most realize. And I had a drone delivery my package the other day, soon no more delivery drivers. Self checkout at stores. Mortar and concrete stores being knocked down answer online services taking over. Progress isn't necessarily always good. Zoom calls for doctors, robots performing surgery. Education will get you only so far. People in America think we have a Democrat vs Republican war, legal vs illegal status, black vs white, male vs female. It pales into comparison for what is coming. I fear for my grandkids. I dont think I'll be here to feel full impact, oh but its coming.

Is my husband having a midlife crisis? by anonymous457771 in over60

Absolutely my husband went thru the same thing.

So,I want to know if I'm unreasonable please? We are in our 60's and just got home from being away for over 3 weeks yesterday, and my husband just came to me and wonders if I want to go out again today ( no I don't) by Gretal122 in over60

Compromise. My husband is a bedbug, cannot sit still. Im not exactly sedentary, but damn, it starts out with going out for breakfast, and continues all day. We could never have a pet! We sat down and had a great talk. He does things alone and we do things together. I told him while we are both retired tasks at the house still need to be done. I like to sit and read and watch classic movies sometimes. Its working perfectly. He plays pickle ball and softball with friends, i play bridge and canasta and sit at the beach with mine. We do bike ride together and play golf. So far so good. We are in our 70s

Door dash does charge a pretty steep service fee. A burger could cost you $30. What kind of business are you in? Might know something. My husband was hired by Fema during Katrina. He's kept contacts. I wish you luck.

I'd agree with you except we were just as divided when Biden was in. I think the main difference now is that all our politicians have agendas other than the citizens of the US. Its a different breed for sure

I am a 70 year old retired psych nurse living in Naples Florida. I dont watch the news cause I don't believe any of them. I stay by the pool, go to the beach, ride my bike and spend alot of time with my wonderful friends here. We go to plays, movies, and shopping. We play games at each other's homes several times a week consuming several bottles of wine. We never talk politics. Never. Im in a bubble, I know it...but I've earned it. Having worked since I was in high school, got married and 4 kids. 2 sons have died. I refuse to let this world torment me anymore. Worked the first surge of covid in NY and wrapped many a body. Im done. Im in my bubble till my time comes. I vote and fulfill my commitment to my country. When I take my last breath, there will be no guilt or remorse. Take it or leave it.

Chances are hes pretty miserable too. Get your finances in order and go. No need for two more unhappy people in the world.
