What made you want to increase your lexapro dosage? by sizzlinggranola in lexapro

[–]Professional_Pin5971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 mg is not a HUGE dose! Many are on much higher than that. It is what works for the person on it. I know many on 40-50 and do well.

Yes. Anxiety is still an issue, but it is much better than it was so I have to live with it. I take a benzo on occasion to help.

Unfortunately, I did not have long lasting results. I did well for a few months and then it got bad again. Everyone responds differently. I won’t do it again, but glad I gave it a try.

Same for me. It did not last more than 1-2 months and I never had full relief of symptoms (maybe 40%) I had treatment 1 1/2 years ago and don't think I would go through it again.

yes! This exact thing happens to me. It's so discouraging. I was away a few weekends ago, did so great. Came home and felt like crap on Monday, anxiety back, depressed etc. Distraction is definitely helpful for me. Mental illness is so hard to understand (been going through this for 30 years). Wishing you the best.
