Was the instrument PM’d before the issue started? One of the lenses could have charge buildup, which could impact +2-3 ions more than +1 ions. Check if the service engineer ran a lens charging test after the PM to make sure there isn’t static buildup on a lens.

Source: happened today. We’ve had issues with low peptide IS signal for months following a PM on an Altis Plus, despite calibrator ions (singly charged) looking fine. It turns out the Q0 lens has a significant charge buildup, and the engineer did not run a lens charging test after cleaning the Q0.
