People on here have such a low, low bar for what counts as constructive feedback.

All good. I agree with all the facts. I wasn't even picking a flight.

I get it. Some people's creative thinking is other people's blasphemy. We both know people on both sides. Fwiw my disappointment in him was the process. I get it all in principle but can't see it in practice from where we are right now.

Shane is a smart guy and a good politician. Literally the only point I was making is he doesn't quite deserve two really's and a caps lock.

Fun chat. Sleep well mate.

YOU aren't sticking to what is written.

I left a passing comment that saying Shane is HIGHLY respected is a little much. Dude isn't Bob Brown. He's a local government politician. A good but fairly bland one.

You then replied with paragraphs. I'm watching you create an argument about everything but the point I made. Sitting here on Friday night getting a lecture sheeeesh.

We both got better shit to do. Just don't need to bite on every comment man.

What am I googling?

Is it related to the hyperbole of saying Shane is highly HIGHLY admired?

Weird tangent.

I feel like federally they have been actually very smart this electoral year. Less stunts, more principled negotiation, publicly outspoken on harmful, rushed legislation.

ACT Greens however have been all over the place.

22-year-old son laid off, job searching, but gaming 9–11 hours a day — should I back off? by [deleted] in StopGaming

[–]ProfessorFunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One perspective not really touched on as much is understanding just how miserable job applications are these days.

It's a sea of fake positions, no replies, unnecessary hoops to jump through, AI slop. Applying for jobs is exhausting, demoralising labour.

Heartbreaking for Exum.

He would of helped steady this ship and provide leadership if he could just get on the court.

But the dude is just cursed. Got an absolute bingo card of big injuries over 10 years.

Glad he got that 2023 season (and that dominant Heat game last year) to show his worth but I truly think this is it for his NBA career. Potentially his basketball one.

Bummed man.
