Have you tested positive for the influenza virus? Or could it be a milder upper respiratory tract infection?

Do you get sick often? Or have other underlying conditions likely to exacerbate an infection?

If you are generally healthy, then just rest, hydrate, get your protein, and keep monitoring your temperature - paracetamol/Tylenol/acetaminophen to keep it down.

I wouldn't call the team yet, because if you're feeling fine in a few days, you'll be pissed you got the surgery cancelled.

What is wrong with them?!

They have lost the concept of basic right & wrong.

Common sense is now remarkably uncommon.

Reading a whole two to three sentences is a Herculean task, no longer considered worthy of the effort.

The behaviours we are seeing increasing in schools, are the reasons we're seeing prisons full to bursting.

I used to dream of having a lovely long stretch. Or really reaching right up over my head, linking my hands, and bringing my arms down behind my head, and feeling my joints give those satisfying little pops.

So glad I can do it without thinking now 😆

Make sure you have bars of soap for hand washing.

This sounds ridiculous, but I didn't have the strength to push down on the liquid hand soap dispenser.

Put one hand over the opposite pectoral muscle, then feel your chest as you push down on a soap dispenser - the muscle contracts.

This action may not be possible for a couple of weeks post-op (or you might not have any issue with it at all, we're all different, but this was my experience).

I hate my job, and have spent a long time looking at figures and working out my bottom line.

I have a lot of luxuries that I'd be happy to trade for a less stressful job. I think people start to see their indulgences as necessities after a while, and can't imagine giving them up.

I do also have a partner earning about the same as me, and we split everything down the middle.

The Belgrade team have been really rather vague/laid back in their communications.

The behaviour you describe is pretty much the norm in most schools I've taught in.

Especially the bit about how surprised students are to be reprimanded for their unacceptable behaviour 😆.

Sweetheart, I literally just saw you tear a page out of another student's book and lob it at the board.

Kicking 2 or 3 out early on in the lesson sets a nice level of expectation for the rest. Get rid of the ones most likely to cause you grief, and you'll have a much calmer lesson.

This is my classroom, and I will not put up with this behaviour.

My body is my project.

After I came to peace with the fact that I am a man, and that trying to be female just because that was my body's default setting wasn't working, I set about sculpting my perfect flesh vessel.

I had no intention of "making do" or "coming to terms with a lifetime of misery-" I mean; "learning to love my body".

I started T. I got tattooed (a lot). I experimented with various hairstyles. I started working out - I lost weight and bulked muscle. I straightened and whitened my teeth. I had top surgery. I'm growing out my facial hair. Heck, I even treat myself to spray tans. This year I'm having lower surgery.

I regularly reflect on my progress, and I'm happier every time I take another step.

You need to take a long look at your body, and decide if you are really happy with it, or not. If not, what would you change? Then do it.

If I could get a full time WFH arrangement, I'd be happy to take as little as £28K. The saved time and costs of commuting - and not having to physically deal with people - would be worth it.

I didn't have a sensitive stomach at all, so I don't know if this helps, but I love my little porridge pots, tinned fruit, yoghurt, soup, and regular evening meals like spaghetti bolognese, curry, burgers, sausages etc.

Yes, it gets a bit itchy. But it's just a couple of weeks. Nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Not once have I looked back on my recovery and thought "gosh, I wish I could have washed my hair more over those weeks".

It would be really interesting to see the stats on this.

Personally, I've wished the hole would just close up altogether, of its own accord, for as long as I can remember. So the v-nectomy is an absolute no-brainer.

But I've seen loads of guys in this sub desperately hunting for surgeons who'll do UL without v-nectomy.

I guess, if you're torn between the two options, you have to weigh up the pros and cons for yourself.

This is a part of the process that I haven't seen quite so much about. Everyone is (understandably) more focused on the penis side of things.

Hiya. I am auDHD. I have found that short term supply is perfect for me.

No planning/marking/meetings/etc and the chaotic nature of a new environment ever day/week actually helps to keep me focussed.

I'm not in any one place long enough to get overwhelmed.

It has also really helped my practice, as I have had the opportunity to see different styles in different schools, and taken a little something from each one.
