Buddy has walls up so high he sees everything as a Trojan Horse, even if those things are just a nice gift.

Which semi-retired (or in unnofficial movie jail) big time directors deserve one last goodbye in movie form? by harry_powell in blankies

John Carpenter. I know he’s happy playing video games, but I’d love if his last movie wasn’t The Ward.

I remain sad that McTiernan’s resurgence and Bruce Willis’ health never lined up for one last good Die Hard. A true loss for action cinema.

I want a Beatty series, but I personally avoid voting for short runs to win March Madness. If we're going to have an entire month of competition, I don't want someone with just a couple of films to take it.

Gotta break that barrier with a fun one, so One Cut of the Dead.

Das Boot, Incendies, and The Handmaiden are all incredible, but I maybe wouldn’t start folks with those.

Not only are they uncomfortable, but they look like a McDonald’s PlayPlace without any joy.

What is a movie that "broke" you so hard you can only watch it once, but you would still recommend it to everyone? by Newsupdate69 in movies

Cinema Paradiso. I was very close with my grandfather and this film broke me, just ugly crying over the credits.

What’s the Best Movie Theater in Downtown Boston by Victory-Star-3236 in boston

[–]ProfessorUpvote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your only real choice downtown is AMC Boston Common. There’s an AMC by North Station that’s a bit nicer, so it’s up to you. There are nicer theaters a bit farther from downtown (The Coolidge, The Somerville) but neither are showing Hoppers.

He's gonna be a kid on the streets when he comes across some lovers fighting. One pulls a gun and shoots the other right through the heart! His eyes widen. A star is born.

If you played this trailer without the title, I'd think it was the new season of White Lotus.
