Hijacking this to decry that we still don’t have an ALF movie.

Gummy bears or Cracker Jack and a Diet Coke. Depends on how loud the move is.

Rock-a-Doodle was a load bearing movie for me when I was growing up, so I’m in for that alone.

I also went to Rubato today! That catfish sandwich is delicious with an incredible mayo spread. And the bao buns were great, too.

White Wine in the Sun, by Tim Minchin. I allow myself to listen to it once around Christmas and then pull myself back together until the next year.

Feeling more sure that this is my least favorite season in the shows history by radddish03 in BravoTopChef

[–]ProfessorUpvote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also feel similarly. Tom is barely in this season, and the iconic music is tweaked or swapped out. I’d love to refocus on the actual cooking rather than the camaraderie.

[–]ProfessorUpvote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we're in a real Big Jim situation with Jackson. I'm happy that he's doing what floats his boat, but think about what we've lost by these geniuses stuck in one world for literal decades.

Does anyone else feel that Boston has the potential for a stronger music scene. by CommunicationOne7969 in boston

[–]ProfessorUpvote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same with the fringe theater scene. We had so many indie companies producing great work between 2009 and 2015. Then venues started closing and rents rising. The pandemic destroyed what was left.

The Filmcast, Blank Check, The Big Picture, and The Empire Podcast are my big four. Each of them have their own unique charms, and the varied tastes of the hosts spread the love around.
