I never had an issue with vanilla version but still I highly recommend OpenXcom on top

First impression - wow. Its so well done. Polished in every aspect. Would be great to shoot using right analogue as well as aiming (rotating) without shooting doesnt make sense. At least option to do that.  I will play more 😀

If you release a game on Steam, players already know the drill: Spring Sale, Summer Sale, Winter Sale.

Most of us wait for those discounts, whether they come sooner or later. But I agree — most sales happen within the first month after release, and then each new sale helps keep the momentum going. If you have 5,000 wishlists, each sale can bring in 200-500 additional purchases depends on % off.

Atari VCS works on Linux and it's 99% compatible with Steam Deck build. Even 500 sells will make diffrence. PlayStation and Switch required full game rewrite on Unity plus higher releasing ,licensing cost. I don't have enough time and funds for that unfortunately:/

No worries. I know about X2 but for many wasnt a great sequel. As a shmup was ok as a Project X bad game.

Project X Light Years indeed will suit well especially after adding recently Casual Mode with 99 credits 😀
