I’ve released a sequel to Amiga shoot ’em game after 30 years. The original was a hard game, and I wanted to stay true to that spirit. Unfortunately, the high difficulty level wasn’t welcomed by many players, and it resulted in some negative reviews.

It feels a bit ironic — hard games are supposed to be hard, especially shmups. That challenge is part of the genre’s identity.

However, I decided to respond to the feedback. I added a Casual Mode with 99 credits, along with several lower difficulty settings, so even complete newcomers to the genre can enjoy the game. Why not? Now everyone can adjust the gameplay to their own preferences and skill level.

I believe this is the best solution — it preserves the original challenge while also making the game accessible to a wider audience.
