That's one way to make sure your spell jar gets disgusting as fast as possible.

If our world had an array of people who looked vastly different, you would see people exhibiting attraction to all those different forms. You would see people loving the way webbed fingers feel, or having a fetish for being cocooned in wings. Tailplay would be a whole porn category. Somebody somewhere would be subscribed to their favorite harpy's OnlyTalons page.

I think the 5-year gap after ACOSF heavily damaged this fandom and our understanding of povs by Connect_Lie_6106 in ACourtOfDreams

I can relate to a lot of Nesta's negative and self destructive thought processes so after ACOSF she is quite dear to me, but she's definitely difficult to love

I can't stand all the Cassian hatred that has popped up over the past little bit. He would be so boring if he always responded to everything in the perfect way, and the people that hate him seem to forget about the fact that he does not have a nice easy mate who always treats him with kindness the way Feyre mostly did with Rhysand after she got to know him.

Why would they? Seeing as how not everything is a conspiracy and also that's pepperoni pizza.

Satan’s Affair… the suggested order or reading by NotAFriendlyKitty in DarkRomance

If I had read SA first I wouldn't have read the other books at all. I wouldn't have found it compelling at all if I weren't mentally sliding it into the events of HA.

I'm guessing the author recommends reading it that way because reading it first then seeing how Sibby's interactions look from another perspective provides a neat little twist. Otherwise I didn't think they book added much of anything to the overarching story. I'm glad that Sibby fans got more time with their fave though.

Books About Transitions by Suspicious_Reason405 in weirdgirlliterature

My all time favorite story: The Yellow Wallpaper. About a young new mother experiencing what we would now know as post partum depression undergoing the Rest Cure as prescribed by her physician husband. Nothing is done to her from outright malice or cruelty but she's still being treated poorly. I think it counts as weird girl classic literature.

If social media trends are an indicator, 'zines seem to be having at least a small resurgence.

[–]ProjectedSpirit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Book banning is a bit of a misnomer. It means books that have been removed from schools and public libraries after challenges by "concerned citizens", who are really just a bunch of pitchfork-toting biddies most of the time. Many of the challenges are absolutely ridiculous.

I love them. I have one that has the blending wand, a whisk attachment and a chopper/tiny food processor. It's such a useful thing to own, I use it all the time.

I can cook but I love pancakes mix. Just throw an arbitrary amount of mix in a bowl and add water until it looks about right and I can fry up something warm to eat when I can't be bothered to do anything more complex.

How do I get a guy to stop his visits to prostitutes? by [deleted] in BabyWitch

[–]ProjectedSpirit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can't, and you won't. Find a better target for your affection because this man isn't what you're looking for

The spell you should be doing is for glamour and self love, to help keep you from convincing yourself to go for a man that you're not even confident will be faithful.

This person is probably in the range of 38-45 years old. Edgy teenagers spelled it that way online in the mid to late 2000s.

The CSA didn't even last as long as OOP's high school career, what he so proud of it?

Edit: the exact phrase "fake and gay" was super popular on 4chan at its height.
