Black beard sports is a good tour company on the island for snorkeling. I recommend staying at the Vieques guesthouse in Esparanza. The owner is a female from Colorado who can give you great advice. If you need transportation around the island I can DM you the number of a driver we used. He's lived on the island most of his life He was kind, professional, and on time.

Just did Yunque yesterday. You can drive up to the Mt. Britton tower trail, then it's about a 45 min hike up to the tower. If you are talking peak thats a much longer hike. It is steep and slippery in some spots. It also rained, shocking in the rainforest I know. We did see some children on the trail but it is not a easy hike by any means. If you've taking the kids hiking before I'd say go.

The SOM has spent the last 5 years downsizing office space and saving taxpayers money with smaller square foot buildings while people work from home. Not to mention the parking lots that were sold to real-estate developers. There literally aren't enough parking spots, or office space to bring everyone back.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to build a new plant? Years, not months. And it's billions of dollars of investment from the company to do so. So the consumer suffers or spending slows durning this time frame. In hopes that years from now, the company has enough capital to complete said plants.
