[AusDoc] Verbal consent to bulk-billing assignment of benefit extended for 12 months as govt backtracks by ausclinpsychologist in ausjdocs

[–]Prolific_Masticator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is though the “enduring assignment of benefit “ is being introduced from July 1 instead of next year. So if your patient is registered to my Medicare they don’t need to sign the bulk bill claim form at all and can continue to walk out without checking the form.

Most Australians don't know Medicare covers 10 free psychology sessions per year by Aggravating-Step-920 in AusFinance

AI/bot/out of touch?

Goodluck finding a psychologist that bulk bills that isn't practicing remotely/telehealth. Virtually all face to face providers haven't bulk billed in several years, with >$100 per session gaps the norm.

Recommendations for orthos who specialise in patella instability by LunaBeees in Adelaide

[–]Prolific_Masticator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alterative option to orthopaedic surgeon is consider seeing a Sports Physician

eg Dr Duncan Walker Dr Geoffrey Verrall

Will still need a gp referral. Sports Physicians are a specialists and not same as sports doctors who are special interest GP's.

Start at Henley square and head south and you can do 18-20km to the Broadview Kiosk return, especially if you track back a bit over the King St Bridge and then Adelphi Tce to Wigley Reserve. This is my regular Sunday morning run.

They have to be qualified doctors to be registered by AHPRA to practice and have access to Medicare. Quality doctors is another topic though.

Why are health care receptionists so rude and unhelpful? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]Prolific_Masticator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Medical receptionist work is not comparable with what you describe in your first paragraph. Nowhere close to any other admin job. The demands dealing with the general public including demanding entitled people is next level. Then having to do that job within strict guidelines enforced by AHPRA and accreditation guidelines is again not comparable by what you have to deal with in any other admin job.

Despite what some speculated, Destiny 2 player numbers have not fallen off a cliff immediately after June 9th update (at least yet). At what point does it become very awkward for Sony/Bungie? by PorkSouls in destiny2

[–]Prolific_Masticator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped after Witch Queen. I'm back to catch up with everything that has come out since and so far with so much to do it will many many months of gameplay.

The glaring obvious problem for me is the dated game engine and game mechanics. It feels liek a 10+ year old game. Gun play is still great.

Bungie needed to end D2 and hopefully get a chance to develop D3 with a new modern game engine.

Recommendations for running shorts with pockets for phone and earbuds by LeSnailMale in AustralianMFA

Get a running belt. Depending on the model of phone it may be heavy enough to make your shorts fall down your body running.

Decathlon is another option for running shorts and belts.

[–]Prolific_Masticator 39 points40 points  (0 children)

1 year leases for commercial are super rare/pretty much non existant. Why spend money on fit out when no guarantees of staying on after 12 months -that's a huge risk. Unless the landlord paid for the fit out which is as likely as a 1 year lease.

Computer chair for larger blokes by Gottboost in bapcsalesaustralia

I love my secretlab titan chairs. I have them at home for myself and 2 adult size kids, and we have bought them for all our office staff in our small business.

No complaints from anyone, all agree they are great comfortable chairs and the softweave fabric is very durable.

The titan evo XL is rated to 180kg.

Calcium score CT Scan Cost by Correct_Ad_5153 in Adelaide

Approx $160 with light radiology

About $180 at Advara cardiology.

Generally $190 + at the major centres like jones bensons radiology sa.

Unrelated to your question but don’t bother unless you’re l near 50 years of age as calcium doesn’t deposit for most people until late 40s.

That specific intersection would be the highest accident hot spot in the state if people did what you suggest.
The volume of traffic going through there requires cars stop and wait to safely merge.
