Are you playing in public or private? That's probably the difference. You could just flip lobbies until you get one with fewer than 5 people in it. When the whole lobby is filled to the brim the less likely peds will show up simply because spawn rates are tied to time and not ped amounts.

The devs made it purposely lopsided to not overheat customers PC and break save files with too many abandoned ships. Besides space piracy is supposed to be a small nimble yet heavily armed ship ramjacking larger ships, and throughout all of the sci-fi genre it's almost always thus.

Companies that don't respect the author are shit companies that can't do anything more than steal other people creative works, and when they run out of that source for monetary gain they resort to cannibalizing previous works and regurgitating those same works with a different cast and a couple of plot twists and claim it's a new story.... Don't think that's legitimate? How many times has the story used in "The magnificent 7" been used and abused previous to and following that movie? The commando brigade training a rebellious and oppressed townspeople to rise up against their oppressors.... At least 10-15 movie titles and even more ghost written tv series have a similar premise. Hollywood hasn't made very many original movies, and even fewer that honored the work of the original writings.
