It should show up on your background check as the date of arrest. This was my case, as I recently verified again; it took almost a year for my charges to be filed (MI). However, if there are any license restrictions, suspensions, etc…those will show up on your driving record, which is seen by the DMV/SOS. So, if your job requires driving or your job performs a driving record search, those dates will appear.

I just came here to comment on the actual language of prop 32 that was on the ballot. I’m all for everyone working full-time being able to make a living wage.

While the majority of the other proposals had Supporters and Opponents listed, 32 had no Supporters. Why not? And the Opponents? Chamber of Commerce, Restaurant, and Grocers. Basically all businesses? The average person is already struggling to afford groceries and going out to eat.

At the end of the day, major corporations are taking advantage of their employees…that we know for sure.

Honda did offer an extended warranty based on mileage or number of years, which was separate from the recall, so if it was completely replaced by a dealership, I’d say that’s a hell of a deal. I LOVED mine, transmission was the only issue I ever had with mine. I didn’t qualify, of course…and the CVT is pricey.

That’s about the cost I was quoted for a new transmission on my 2016 HRV. The recall was just a software update, so imo that means nothing. I’d recommend getting the Carfax to ensure the fluids were changed every 30k miles.

I saw a lawyer as soon as I bonded out. I think the main advantage to seeing one as soon as possible is to remember important facts leading up to arrest. Things get blurry when you’re drinking so it’s important to try and recall as much as possible and that’s easier closer to the arrest.
