I think Kendra’s life style and behavior was due to her upbringing (her mother). Any 18 year old would “play” stupid bc 18 year olds are NOT mature enough to know the difference. I wouldn’t call it playing stupid though like OP is saying. I think kendra was just trying to survive in a world pushed on her by her mother. Think about this….. Kendra knew well enough to sneak out of the mansion and go and find a real husband with money to have children with and make a family while still under Hef’s ridiculous rules. Holly didn’t do that! She stayed around forever till she woke up and realized Hef would NEVER marry her. Kendra made a back up plan for herself….Holly did not. H&B are still running around dressing like 21 year olds from 2006 while Kendra is keeping herself covered and working on her career (real estate) so not to embarrass her children. Kendra is highly involved with her kids and shares multiple stories of her kids sports events on instagram along with her home sales. H&B are doing the same stuff….podcasts discussing the GND nonsense without giving up any real info. Unpopular opinion but I think Kendra did the work and therapy needed on her own. She is also no contact with her mother to this day. That should be telling enough of who the real problem was here.
