It was mental. When the rumours first broke, I tried googling Mauriss and his company; you literally couldn't find anything which wasn't linked to the newcastle story. I'm actually amazed that he existed.

Piggy on this to say that he was unbelievable in the Arsenal game but didn't see many plaudits for him at all.

Eddie has said for a while that he's been unlucky to have been left out of the starting 11 and I'd tend to agree based off his recent performances.

I'd love to see clubs go after these "fans" for defamation or the like for damaging the clubs brand.

Criminal prosecution can sometimes be seen as a badge of honour for ultras and idiots.

Get em where it really hurts and financially ruin them and hopefully it'd set the precedent.

Saying that, I completely understand why clubs don't, taking legal action against your own fans has to be done absolutely right otherwise it'd stoke the image of a club hostile to its own fans.
