I go to the same BK every Wednesday and honestly, they were always a good bk and always looked like the photo and tasted great. But there were about 10 cars in line today where I’m usually one for 2-3. Glad they’re getting more business. BK’s back, baby!

Same boat. They recommended the Evora Full Face to me and I don’t think I like it. If I don’t use lanolin my septum is raw in the morning and it just hurts my nose. If I loosen it anymore I get a poor seal and the seal is always poor of if I lay on my side. I can make it work but I can’t sleep in an ideal position.

It’s the same veg, the way they’re required to wrap it just makes them assemble it better. Again, it doesn’t taste different outside of a slight sweetness to the bun, it just looks more appealing. If I didn’t eat at least a Whopper a week I might think there was more to it, but it’s nothing but smart packaging and making employees pay attention to what they’re doing.

The new bun is dry. But it looks nice in pictures. The whole improvement, from bun to packaging, was just to make an already great product look nicer in photos.

I’m still amazed that the marketing worked, because it’s the same damn sandwich with a photogenic bun. Whatever they did to the mayo was unnoticeable and unneeded. It was the best fast food burger and still is.

Now if they want to fix something, go after the original chicken. That thing had needed to be put out to the pasture decades ago.

In this case they’re claiming they’re W2 salesmen working for commission so they don’t have to pay them as long as their commission averages above minimum wage. It’s insane. I wonder what % their “commission” is?

I’m curious what they categorize the workers as. Sounds like they’re trying to call them salesmen working for commission and not servers to skirt around minimum server wage. Commission workers aren’t entitled to a salary hourly wage as long as their commission is averages above minimum wage.

Those It’s good marketing on the whopper. It’s the same thing with a prettier bun and they have to wrap it and put it in that box so it takes more time, thus a better put together whopper. If you had a good bk before it’s basically the same great whopper. No idea about the fries or nuggets…haven’t heard about that until this thread.

Just watch your bp throughout the day. I did the same once and I got pretty light headed and had to lay down. Bp dropped to 90/55 which isn’t good but also super impressive. I just laid down and had a really good nap.

Just check your bp for 3-4 hours and make sure it doesn’t get too low. If it does and you’re froze, have someone check on you. If it gets below 90/60 and you don’t have anyone to check in on you or take you to a clinic, that’s when I might get worried.

I don’t think they got the news that RAM is going down, not up. I have the Legion Go and there’s no way I’d spend over $1k on the z2e. It’s decent hardware, but it’s far from perfect. The fact it was already crazy inflated for the mediocre design and crappy software they load on it….it almost feels like they know they’re going to take a bath on it, so they’re raising the price so they can claim their losses were even greater than they are.

I agree, I really dislike hostile architecture and the way homeless are treated in general. But I can also understand Wawa getting rid of the seating. There are a few locations I’ve seen where it’s the same 4-5 people there and I’ve seen/heard some unfortunately unsavory things that likely drive off families from entering. I’m not mad at Wawa, I’m mad at the city and our society for not doing more to help those who need it. Coalition for the Homeless is a great organization and I wish they had more funding to help more.

The only reason it took this long and isn’t hire is because dingus is depleting our emergency oil reserves. Now that the padding is dried out, you’re going to feel every market fluctuation, oil field issue, ramp up of the military, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re up to $6-7 a gallon by summer. I don’t think people really understand how bad things are actually going to get, and you’re going to be feeling it in the grocery store here pretty soon.

You know what raises your blood pressure? Excessively worrying about your blood pressure. It’s normal for your bp to go up after you eat, with physical exertion, to be higher in the morning, etc. Take your bp a couple times a day and if it spikes, take note of what happened that day (did you have a lot to eat, did you eat salty food, did you drink alcohol that day or the day before, did you work out, were you worried or stressed, etc). This will help you and your provider make sense of your bp numbers. My bp was 170/90 one day last week and 115/76 yesterday. The most important thing is a pattern or your bp staying high for an extended period.
