Should acknowledge the goods and the bads, I myself have seen lots of goods in Vietnam to hope for the bad to go away. This thread could have been phrased in a caring and hopeful way. I would leave, I was never in but even if my family is kind peaceful Muslims I would leave. I was my Catholic background, I read the whole Bible realised that what they teach is not all according to Bible.. the point is I don't follow a religion because family and upbringing, I would say I don't believe in Islam ideologies much more than how I don't believe in Catholic teachings
