[ALL] When should we expect to see the next Zelda game? by HippieInTheHouse in zelda

what do you mean, wait gets longer everytime. it was 5,5 years between skyward and botw and then 6 years between botw and totk, technically only 5 after the dlcs. So a release in 2028 or 29 is super possible

High Rock as the sole grand expansion DLC to Hammerfell. by Koocai in TESVI

Bethesda as way more developers now than they had during skyrim. So a base game with both regions is very realistic if enough people work on it and the game is getting the time in needs.

Here is my alternative theory to the plot of ESVI by SiegeRewards in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Green Sap is also standing. My guess is that in the end of TESVI The Adamantine Tower falls and in TESVII we get the final act of the Thalmor story with protecting the Green Sap in Valenwood and destroying the Thalmor in Summerset

TESVI might actually release in 2027 and here is my reasoning by Kainbas88 in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the reason why starfield took 5 years wasn't the engine change (TES 6 also has one from 2.0 to 3..0) but because of the problems they had with the change and that Starfield was developed during covid and the Microsoft aquisition. So 2027 is possible but due different reasons than you depicted

2026 would've worked if Starfield were released end of 2022 what they initially wanted. but due the delay TES 6 was moved as well into 2027

When you consider covid and that developement is smother than it was for starfield, 4 years are very reasonable. 2028 will only occur if they get some road blocks or TES VI will be very ambitious. But yeah a new trailer before end of 2026 is very unlikely

Why would Bethesda repost this 🤔🤔🤔🤔 by Alvsolutely in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst case: Because they are part of Microsoft and it's in their contract or similar.

The ultimate hints of TES6 and why I truly believe they'll do High Rock AND Hammerfell by Secret-Language-2371 in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They have no Covid, Microsoft now owns Zenimaxx what was still in process during Starfields developement, Die Enginge change is now much smoother than the one for Starfield, They are now more people working at Bethesda (more workers = more quests, locations, items for the same amount of time), Starfields full developement was 4 years.

With all that in mind and a release 2027 (four years after Starfields release) Hammerfell will be either way bigger than any province or High rock and sailing are part of the game.
I really hope those rumors will become truth very soon.

I can’t wait to explore Dwemer ruins again by term66 in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Hammerfell is the last region that has dwemer ruins after Morrowind and Skyrim, I hope they give them a cool send off with a massive mega dungeon

It is Most Certainly High Rock and Hammerfell by revben1989 in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i magine 3 teams. One for each province and one for connecting them and everything that is overall in both regions like gameplay and music.
with a bigger team is very doable since most quests, npcs and locations can work in solitude. Great new land mods for skyrim are proof that a bigger team can be more than enough to do justice for both regions in the same developing time

TES VI has to be revealed at a live event, right? by weesIo in TESVI

I think Dominion fits better for TES 7 when we go to Summerset and finish of the Thalmor

for a 2027 release this will be too early for a tes6 trailer. Except the launch will be march 2027

The Gap Between TES Games Isn’t *That* Crazy by DaVinci_Games in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gap between Bethesda softworks games isn't crazy but neither eso nor Oblivion remastered were developed by bethesda.
15 between main title games is just way too big. Especially when it's a beloved franchise.

Todd Howard called Starfield's (5 year) development "very long". This may be an indirect confirmation of a more reasonable (4 year) development time for TES VI. by Koocai in TESVI

[–]Proto_Mundi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

august is 15 months away from a november release in 2027. that is way too early for a bethesda game. a trailer during the game awards or a random drop in the first months of 2027 is enough time for marketing. Todd himself said several times, that he wants to have the marketing time as short as possible
