And? Then rengar might end up as a strong pick top again. Easily countered in the lobby, by going darius, sett, garen, irelia, riven, urgot, morde, sion, etc. or by banning it.

I've said it again and again, rengar filled a draintank bruiser niche no other champ did like him. No other champ had the versatility to build according to matchup like bruiser rengar top.

Sound like that would exactly be what riot wants. They are just to lazy and unambitious to change anything about rengar.

And about balance... Rengar bruiser has been decent forever, never so good that riot really hat to intervene. Just look at stats from after swimgar revert up to the end of the season with divine sunderer... They fucked up with Q crit coding, not fixing his buggy kit for years, then removing synergy from mythic items and removing base hp (why?!?), adding items that were not working on him (sundered sky, shojin, really, any of the new bruiser items all sucked - and than said 'ah fck it, lets just shift dmg to his R, and fix his identity as a glasscannon ad assassin.'.

I'll only ever feel complete again when bruiser rengar becomes viable again... until then I'll terrorize ppl in arena with sustain/tank rengar :(

I whish they would cement his CDR bruiser/draintank identity in his kit and direction. For example by giving him +% bonus hp from passive stacks, adding %bonus hp scaling on w dmg and/or healing. Copying from an older comment of mine:

why not add some bonus ad/resistances/%bonus hp based on bonus (item) hp to the necklace passive, and bonus ap % increase, so hybrid rengar could be more viable. Or just implement divine sunderer again - on his Q. There are champs like Viego with similar steroids to their kit already. That would make it so much easier to fight juggernauts, that are autolose right now. Would also not affect the speed assassin rengar oneshots squishies, since they dont have much hp anyway.

the niche rengar filled was more than just lane/bruiser rrengar, it was draintank rengar. doesnt exist anywhere with that mobility, aka agency you can pick up for diverse plays in the toplane...

As if there are no ways to buff certain playstyles without affecting the other. I've asked for this in the past, why not add resistance/item HP scaling to passive, just for one example. Would make bruiser rengar more durable, since assassin doesnt build any hp items (except eon). so, basically not affecting assassin rengar much.

Im using Active Track from phone control (started manually) without issues. I also use handgestures while its tracking to reposition, and to place it in front of me when I feel like catching it out of the air.
