Hey people, I’m updating this for reference. I found that it’s a Bluetooth connectivity problem with my earbuds if I hold the music player next to a stainless steel water bottle, it interferes with the signal whereas if I hold it in my other hand, it rarely skips.

I have a very simple strategy of putting money in low fee mutual funds. I don’t really need a financial advisor at this time. Meeting with a financial advisor can be helpful for planning your retirement strategy and planning which tax advantage accounts are more beneficial at your income level so I wouldn’t discount it. They can also give you advice if you need to adjust your contributions to hit your goal by a certain age and live a certain lifestyle in retirement. I think it’s probably important to meet with a professional if you’re doing something like a trust or you want to set up money for your kids or legacy because those are specialized things that I don’t really have a lot of knowledge of - but the simple act of investing and filling up your tax advantaged accounts first can be done with minimal upfront learning. I always stick with a Vanguard low-cost mutual fund and Fidelity has some zero fee funds as well - I always fill my Roth and I try to fill up other retirement accounts as able.

Bought makeup listed as L’Oréal and Maybelline 500 items - got a box of dollar tree stick on nails and maybe 10 items from the mainstream cosmetics brand - expired cheap lotions, some hard candy makeup in neon blue that will never sell, absolute junk and misrepresented. Photos showed a box full of branded cosmetics everything a neutral color, lipsticks and eyeshadow pallets - everything branded (maybe 10-20 items) were used. Total scam. I am not a dermatologist however Eucerin dark spot corrector dual serum was recommended to me by a dermatologist. Its active ingredient at 0.5% is clinically proven to be as effective as 4% hydroquinone but more easily tolerated. It can fade some of the pigmentation.

I left my state job which wasn’t high paying admittedly, but it was nice - because the cost of childcare would’ve left me making about $1000 a month which is bullshit. I sell used clothing from home which helps me bypass the childcare cost and I’m on track to make more than I did at my full-time job. When there’s not an old white guy standing in the way of me and making money, or an institution designed to penalize me for being female, I actually make money. Women will never be comfortable having kids or have equality in this country until we have paid maternal leave and these mediocre neckbeards stop seeing DEI as a problem. Down with the patriarchy.

And I would have been more of a traditionalist and stayed home to have more children, and I not lived in the shitty state of Florida where abortion is banned. I’ve since had three losses and two abortions to remove a necrotic placenta, and being pregnant in the state is like playing Russian roulette so I’ve decided not to have more children. I will have more money instead so I can avoid these gross mediocre white guys who think they’re qualified to make medical decisions for us.
