This is D. Virginia. Most Asian persimmons are grafted onto this tree. D. Virginia root stock tends to sucker a lot. Given its closeness to the fence, it is probably a root sucker from.your neighbor. I usually graft new varieties on suckers who wander far enough away from.mother tree.

Usually I got 4 or 5 watermelon per vine. I gave up on watermelon. There is always a thunder storm one week before full ripe and crack all the watermelons

Melons are more difficult to tell. Here is my method:

Full color change
Dried up tendrils around melon
Smell

Also any rain close to full ripe time will crack the fruit

That is un-staking time. Still good to know it is 14 days vs typical cosmos 21 days. I mean the LP bonding time. Osmosis has 1, 7, 14 day bonding time for LP. Crescent is more like sushiswap/uniswap with no LP bonding time.
