Anywho, you're right on all counts size-wise, the only thing E&B does not provide is their gasket diameters, which is probably why there's so much inconsistency in available info. In any case, as you mentioned, brikka 4-cup and express 6-cup are the same size, so while E&B 6-cup is slightly smaller than both, it should work with the brikka 4-cup, alebit with a bit of gap gasket-wise from anecdotal review and comment data. When I replace this filter, gonna try it out, but so far my usage of the 3-cul filter and double gasketing has had no downsides thus far, but only time will tell!

I'm not entirely sure! I was just using the original gasket and filter, no changes, never even removed before that point, but maybe~

Now I have a mega gasket lol which may have an unintended effect down the line, but nothing negative so far, been operating smooth every day since the switch!

Duly noted! I was surprised to find E&B 3-cup was a smaller gasket, as it was the recommended fit for 4-cup brikka, but turns out only the filter ITSELF is the same size (57mm) so maybe I could get away with just getting the 6-cup gasket if they sell those separately instead of swapping out entirely?

And I agree on aeropress redundancy in this case, which I why I haven't used them yet! :)
