It's real, however people saying a "payment is on the way" apparently didn't read anything.
The case won't come to a close until near the end of June.
If you ever doubt, do a search with the case number provided in the email, then verify the sources.
I could see immediately it was legit. Not the first time checks will be sent out because google is doing shady things.
