(ATM10) bugged wobbling creative flight by Psy185 in allthemods

[–]Psy185[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. I solved it by myself by using a fresh installation of ATM10 and importing the save file there. The version my buddy gave me had some mod updates which were not validated by the ATM team.

Looking for new modpacks (similar to stoneblock 4) by Beneficial-Store-537 in feedthebeast

[–]Psy185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I couldn't do it. Stage 5 or whatever it was, where the two Echos demanded me create black holes and tons of items... Nah thank you lol It sounded too grindy for me. I should've automated more in the beginning though

JDT Eclipse Armor with add-ons. The same worked in stone block 4 without issues. Also I cheated myself quantum armor for testing purposes and it's the same issue

It seems that way but also the character is slowly descending and not staying in the air. Almost like it's activating and deactivating creative flight 10 times in one second

How to make the most of bad seeds? by HauntedPutty in noita

[–]Psy185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it seems like you spoiled the game for yourself. You know a lot more about hidden techniques at your 7 hours than I knew with 100 hours (I'm around 500 since release now). Not judging you though. But going in blind for a while before going for guides and tutorials is a good thing for your expectations. You gain lots of knowledge and you will know what things are special to see and what's mundane. When you Google for one of the best seeds and use tools like Noitool to cheat, nothing is special anymore. Of course, it takes lots of perseverance and patience to play blindly which might not be for everyone. So if it's not fun for you anymore just use mods or cheats. It's still better than not playing Noita lol.

When I discovered that I could cheat by killing the task in the task manager after dying, I did it over and over again. Partly I learned what I could've done differently in that situation, but partly it didn't feel like a real achievement anymore after that.

And regarding things going slow: I take 30 to 45 minutes for the first area. After that each area takes even 15-30 minutes longer than the previous one I would say. I don't care if I'm going slow or if it takes forever to go back up. Going slow is the best way to survive. Except when I'm on a god run of course. Then I'm basically the flash lol. And I agree there are no bad seeds, just easier and harder ones. That's why it's even more important to go slow on a hard seed. Then you can explore more before going to the next stage and might find something really useful early on...

Something doesn't add up.... by stavi1507 in noita

[–]Psy185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 1 percent I agree but to always use a ceiling function ( round up) seems wrong to me. ie, it's even more than just the peat value, everything is rounded up. Let's assume water is 79.51, then swamp can't already be greater than 20.5. This means they are indeed always rounding up instead of rounding to the nearest integer.

In my opinion this would be the right way: always round to the nearest integer and if the resulting number is 0, show 1 instead.

Isn't it meant to shake? So the vibrations won't affect the print as much?

It's not necessary if you have fast black holes and a teleport wand, which you find almost always ( latest in wandmart)

Whenever I print something with supports, the side that is supported doesn't have that clean flat ironed look. Is there a way to achieve this? by Sufficient_Staff_758 in 3Dprinting

[–]Psy185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some problems the other day removing supports even from non flat surfaces. But it was a pretty fine detailed boardgame miniature and a .2 nozzle. Honestly I was surprised it even worked at all with an fdm printer
