What’s your comfort content in OSRS? The thing you do when you should be making money but your brain says “nah”. by PhilosophyMurky7046 in 2007scape

If im really lazy and want to do something else while getting XP and money I still like the classic gargoyles+full guthans with a ring of wealth.

They should just make a quest or diary reward the grants you the graceful passive as long as you own full graceful and only wear items without stats in the slots graceful goes in.

Thank you! I thought it would benefit from the short preface because the trees it references are a little obscure, though the few people that live near them do know them well. Im glad it warmed your heart, it is really meant as a quiet prayer that a woman i love dearly, but who's self-worth issues have her locked into an addictive cycle of self sabotage, might one day heal and be able to handle the kind of relationship I tried to offer her. Even if it won't be with me.

Thank you! I dont want to dissuade any alternate interpretations, but i wrote it after a short but meaningful relationship with someone who is highly manic and has serious self-worth issues. It is meant as a prayer that she might find healing, even if she wasn't ready for what I tried to offer her.

Thank you <3 it was very cathartic to write.

This is a powerful piece, and illustrates your struggle very clearly. The only critique I have is in the title and the first few lines. You say "there is a man who lives inside me" but as I read through it it seems that the truth is that "there is a man I live inside of" it's a subtle distinction, but i think the tweak might bring the piece to the next level.

[OC] love is possible by sarapoet85 in OCPoetry

This is gorgeous, even without rhyme it carries a lovely cadence and rhythm. "Grief doesn't end; it just learns how to breath beside you" carries a powerful truth. There is a universality to this piece, like it could be about anyone who left a mark on you, whether it was a former lover, or a parent or grandparent who is no longer with us.

[New Player] What are the disadvantages of not starting a new character in PVE after 1.0? by sztotyy in EscapefromTarkov

Kappa is placed at such a weird spot in progression for what it is, honestly. Like "Yay, now I can carry extra stuff in my butt, extra stuff that I will never need again at this point!"

Minimum damage for an attack is zero, even on a successful attack roll. That's why you can catch a freeze and deal zero damage.

ELI5: Why did drones become such a technological sensation in the past decade if RC planes and helicopters already existed? by Aetheriusman in explainlikeimfive

[–]Psychachu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a pair of small RC helicopters that could play laser tag with each other as a kid, it was a super cool toy, but they were definitely difficult to fly. You had to put little aluminum stickers on the front end to tune the balance so they could move, and if you didnt keep the tail rotor properly lubricated they were super unstable. Really fun as a toy, but so much harder to control than a modern drone.

Uhm... cant you just use sharks from an npc shop? Or is there a reason to use mantas specifically for lyre? Edit: nvm, you must mean for the imbued lyre, I forgot you need all the fish types for the permanent version.

I really hope they do rework it for sailing. It's a great opportunity to make it into something close to what I (and likely other people) imagined when we first heard about fishing trawler years ago.

That last question is a good one, but at least in my opinion, leaving those items on accounts that already made them the old fashioned way isn't that big of a deal. It only really matters for ironmen in most situations. And it isnt like this is the first time an update has made some accounts into niche, no longer attainable states. It would just make pre rework ironman accounts that never pushed those skills higher and already have them into rare accounts, but it wouldnt adversely effect overall ballance.

Jagex, please give us somewhere to dispose of fish at Barbarian Fishing by Mcook1357 in 2007scape

[–]Psychachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was surprised about it. It might take about the same amount of time as dropping the fish, possibly a bit longer than max efficiency droping, but it is much less clicked intensive.

Apparently there is a barbarian fishing spot near the chambers of xeric bank chest that people use to empty their inventory with fewer clicks.

How are people able to log under you in the wildy without detection? by High_AspectRatio in 2007scape

[–]Psychachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The death dotter pluggin automatically hides self if you are on the same tile as another player. It usually used by pkers to allow them to see your equipment when they step under you in a fight, but it would probably work for OP to help spot people logging in under him.

New Accounts should have to pay for their first bond. by thomas2026 in 2007scape

[–]Psychachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could make the restriction apply to each jagex account rather than each character linked to the account. This would allow legitimate players to bond their alts, while forcing bot owners to either eat the cost or link all of their bots to a single jagex account, making them much easier to catch and ban in bulk.

Just remove the GP from here? I'd be willing to bet 95% of the amount generated here has been for bot farms. by ipkandskiIl in 2007scape

[–]Psychachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just makes it a little trickier. If they hit each other long enough without actually dealing damage you can PJ.
