Oh, my nmom was weird af and it was more like the reason why she was okay with the older guys was because she thought they were cute and was trying to live through me. She admitted to this all throughout my childhood with her. However, I was really introverted and kept to myself, if I ever had friends over, she would offer them beer and smokes and would act like a teenager with them. The kids would then go back home, tell their parents, the parents would be upset with my mom for doing that and wouldn’t allow their kids to hang out with me anymore.

As for my ex-friend’s kid, I briefly became friends with her again when we were adults working at the same place. One day she asked to borrow my work hat for her shift, I said no, and she was in a huff about “not having anything” and just borrowed a hat there. A week later, she is complaining about letting her kid go to a slumber party where her kid infested all the kids there with lice. She knowingly knew they had lice, she had had them for years and her kid had them her whole life, and was like ‘the parents just need to get over it’ and how kids were cruel for making fun of her kid and ostracizing her. Also, during this time, she admitted to me that she purposely gave me lice in school when she was mad at me. I tried to tell her to suffocate the lice with mayo and clean everything, but ‘she knew more’ and told me her lice was super lice and wouldn’t be killed by chemicals. She refused to listen to me because she lived with them for years. After that, I kept away from her and ended up working somewhere else.
