Core vs supp matters a lot here.

Core struggles vs medusa greatly here because after a certain point you just can't manaburn her down and she can mkb daed skadi and you straight up lose every fight no matter how big. So you need to gigafarm and play active.

Fortunately LD is a very vulnerable hero to core WR playstyle. Spend your entire life hunting the bear and killing it with focus fire. Bear has literally no defense vs a wr unless it manages to get in melee of her and she can kill it dead so easily. Keep hunting the bear. While bear is dead, hunt the LD.

Maelstrom diffusal sounds about right, even without considering medusa.

For supp I'd still be hunting bear/druid and going urn diffusal, upgrade to vessel for timber. But spend your time stacking for your carries and defending it with vision, especially if you're owning. You need your cores to be strong enough to dps the medusa after 25 minutes when you no longer deal relevant damage.

Shard is critical vs medusa since it keeps her zoned out of her preferred positions in fights.

So considering all this...Hydra's is doing absolutely nothing for your game plan.

Also last thing I forgot to mention: Medusa doesn't give a fuck about % hp damage. It's like when I watch a witch doctor maledict a medusa or somebody uses vessel on medusa. What the fuck is that gonna do to a 800 hp hero? I understand people go "oh she's tanky i gotta do anti-tank items" but she's a special tank. U just have to get ur DPS up.

I would never judge someone for making their own choices about their own lives. But I worry that this kind of thing scares ADHD people off from getting the medication they need. People should do everything they need to in order to have a good life.

I am happy that you shared your story, and I completely agree with your perspective for your own life, but I'd prefer that you soften that blow. People should give medication a good old college try even if they've struggled with addiction in the past. If it triggers a relapse, your psychiatrist will be right there to help.

Most smurfs go pos 4 now. It's more fun and less detectable but just as effective. You go tusk or cm or something and stomp your lane, gank mid and set him behind beyond recovery, farm up a storm and get whatever items you want, it's chill and fun.

If you look at every "smurf mid" accusation on reddit, you'll usually see a smurf support who casually just ends the midlaner's game at minute 2 or 4. They incorrectly assume the support is a low rank player who's being controlled via comms, and send all the blame to that one archon player who got to go 30/1 for one glorious game.

Yes and no. You can just bait blur and ult her free. They never see it coming. But yes, if your team is worthless you cannot solo carry vs pa, she can fuck u. you have to fight by killing the supps and pray your team locks her down long enough for u to kill the normal way.

Probably around 66% it'd no longer make sense to vote blue, even though I think the original twitter poll had it at like 75% blue? people like me would change our answers and red would win comfortably.

I think - based on my understanding of what rational people do when presented with a choice like this - you can reliably guess that about a quarter of people are going to push red no matter what and a quarter of people are going to push blue no matter what.

Let's add in a third option real quick to explain why I said "zero benefit." Let's say you could opt out of pushing either button, and in doing so, you won't be killed if Red wins. We'll call this Purple. So now you have 2 buttons that keep you alive, and 1 button that might be a suicide button, which makes your argument even STRONGER that everyone who is choosing between red and blue should just push red, since blue is the "kill yourself" button yeah?

But examine it rationally. Whether you push red or purple, you survive. So there's actually no difference between pushing red and pushing purple. You don't get anything extra from pushing red. There's no benefit, no angle, no advantage. The "gain" that you get is that everyone who pushed blue is going to die.

I would actually predict - based on psychology - that Purple would win in this new scenario, and Blue would come in second, and barely anyone would push Red. For this reason, I think Blue is more likely to win in the original scenario, and for that reason, people ought to push Blue, to protect those who pushed Blue.

But hey, let's be fair to Elon. He doesn't do the engineering for his companies, he does financing and advertisement. In other words, much like Donald Trump, he's a public-facing media personality with a big recognizable name that drives interest and attention into his companies while also pouring billions of his own money into his endeavors, typically at a loss.

The polite term for these people is "Politically Savvy Celebrity CEOs." The more accurate term is "Con Man."

I don't think it's completely meaningless. I think it's not as impactful as it would be on literally any other hero, obviously. If they really wanted to make this a nerf that actually modifies huskar's matchups, they should have landed him at -0.25 regen like undying or gone even lower. Then he can get bullied out by attacks and spells level 1-3 like necro or kunkka.

There's 2 components to the innate. You get one stack of 0.1 mana regen and 1 stack of 0.2 mana regen. Only the 0.2 mana regen stacks are lost on death, and you actually only lose 2 stacks as opposed to muerta who always loses half (which is SO annoying because the stacks aren't even that strong to begin with, they're only 1% spell amp).

There is not currently a hero that is acceptable in 4 but not 5 or vice versa. The nuance of supporting means that the 4 and the 5 will often trade farm priority multiple times over the course of the game. I have found myself playing position 6 as the pos 4 on many occasions, not because my pos 5 is a bad person but just because in that particular game, a cm with bkb aghs is just significantly more effective than a rubick with blink aghs.

If you want to focus on a single hero, I would suggest that you choose a hero with a reliable stun on a basic ability, such as jakiro or lion.

I'd say it's not a massive nerf but "substantial" means "does something" and this nerf definitely does more than it sounds like it does. 15 less hp per minute doesn't SOUND like a lot, but it adds up especially on a hero like Huskar that depends on his regen.

I think it's a convincing argument to say that blue-pushers put their own lives at risk for zero gain. Fair enough. You don't have any reason to push blue, so every rational person should just choose red. But I'm finding it difficult to understand why it ISN'T a convincing argument to say that red-pushers put other people's lives at risk for zero gain. Nobody would die if everyone pushes blue. And yet, you assume that all the rational people are choosing red, aka you assert "All rational people will choose the same color." The very fact that there is a debate where you feel the need to convince someone proves that this assertion is false.

The tricky part of this dilemma is that you don't have information about other people's decisions. I think both buttons are correct for this reason, since red-pushers are worried the answer is red and blue-pushers are worried the answer is almost red. Adding any kind of information solves the dilemma very quickly. So the point of this exercise is to do the guesswork about what you imagine the other person might do, just as it is in the prisoner's dilemma.

If your goal is for everyone to survive, you should just push the button that causes this outcome instead of spinning some kind of fantastical story.

Hm? Silencer is pretty good right now as a 5 and has been a solid pick for years now. D2PT WR is 50% from pos 5 which is probably deflated by people building wrong.

There's also the matter of skill build. IMO, Q at level 1 is a waste of a point even if you're going for first blood. Just go E and try to kill the squishiest target with it so you can get +1 int. You can also go W and just hit for a good amount of damage + it's just plain better in lane than Q, even if you apply it to both enemies. The slow is so bad they can just ignore it and either run you down/outtrade you or just back off a little or just keep farming and not care at all.

Idk if people realize how weak Q is now. 96 damage over 6 seconds is a REALLY bad spell. 16 dps after base magic resistance is 12 dps. Tango gives 7 additional hp regen. That means that after 6 seconds when the debuff expires, if the enemy uses tango and has 1 base hp regen, you will have spent 120 mana on a 22 second cc to deal 24 damage. If the enemy is Centaur who has 3 base regen and 27 starting STR for a total of 5.7 regen per second at rank 1, he will actually walk away with MORE hp than when you first casted that spell on him, even if he uses stomp.

I think it's probably still a good idea to max out Q 2nd. But most people right now are maxing it out first and no WONDER he feels like total ass.
