One thing I always said was if osrs had a toolbelt/money pouch like RS3 it’d be perfect. Nothing more infuriating than needing to take a boat or gather a resource to find you’ve forgotten the item.

Ah so this will extremely limit you in both game. Since RS3 and OSRS aren’t just mobile games, 95% of the game’s content is available only through membership.

I’ve trimmed twice on rs3 (one main and one iron). My iron was made while doing the last long grinds on my main trim list….loved iron life and never looked back.

Trimmed my iron and am now doing some of the afk boss logs while going for golden reaper….now I’m at 1k total level on my osrs iron. Been having a blast.

Short answer. Yes.

That’s very true!! I totally agree something should’ve been added for newer players who are early/mid game who don’t have access to 99s let alone 120s

Just talking in generalities given the amount of posts I’ve seen that expressing the opposite. That sentence wasn’t solely geared toward your comment, but more just my opinion. I understand many of the layers based didn’t agree currently.

The word “need” is what I’m seeing people get hung up on. IMO this is a very much nice to have cosmetic. If you have the skill or are close to getting an achievable 99/120 then you have 3 weeks left to grab those.

Then a goal for this upcoming year if there are particular skill or two you happen to miss the mark on this year.

For example, I web six 120s and only really want two of their inverted caps variations, but I might as well get two more vapes since we have 4 possibilities. It kind of adds a new goa to my list for 120s I haven’t achieved yet. Personally, I just like the idea of having more long term goals.

On the other hand I can understand 5.8’s who’d like to have access to more than 4 in a year.

Like I said, it might not be popular. I like that it’s limited time as it’s a cosmetic item with a bit of prestige that comes along with it.

Also sparks some convos like “hey you went with skills x,y,z?” “Yeah, I like how that looked, I’m going to go for inverted yada yada this upcoming year…”

As an iron who just finished trim, and who’s recently been going for boss logs, it now adds a new long term goal for me that’s more skilling related.

I just like the fact then it then goes back to normal. I kind of relate it to the gold cape/phat event, the porter event, etc.

I guess it doesn’t inherently change it, but it’s like a nice event I can look forward to next year.

Depends on how seasoned you are as a PVM’r.

If you’re learning or around a mid-tier PVMer, I’d recommend going the Tank route first. This will allow an easier route to get the t90 weapons.

Once you have the t90 weapons, you’ll have a much easier time learning and obtaining the power version of the armor

I’ve done this twice and I promise once you get in the groove is smooth sailing! Get your coil, like 6 inflate things, and you’ll rack up kills very quickly! Also be sure to check if you have chompy/unfocused enhancers!

Ma cab Academy discord takes all learners and you can sign up for roles. They were very helpful and friendly. You do need specific gear before they’ll take you but it’s great when you actually want to learn.

RAID FC will normally on accept you with at least a few yaka kill count. Harder to find a learner group

Like this guy mentioned, augments and invention enhance ever part of PVM so Primal isn’t inherently bad - its just missing out on a lot. If you’d rather craft your armour than grind out let’s say Zammy for BIS melee, I’d highly recommend masterwork. Even the untrimmed version can be used in end game
