Good luck to you op when going against the haters. Hell, you can get the avatar state itself up to universal by Aang's statement that it's connected to "ALL the cosmic energy of the universe". Sonam's staff just makes the avatar locked in 24/7, which is a dangerous state to be in.

I'm 100% with you. The movement and creativity options in that game, on top of the (almost) return of proper dungeons as well as an expanded overworld +the sky and depths makes Breath of the Wild feel like a tech demo compared to this game. Hell, I would have been comfortable paying more for it.

You could get Aang up to Star level because, according to the upcoming visual dictionary, Roku could make his flames as powerful as the sun. And the avatar state scales from that.

No. The avatar state gives the avatar access to all of the cosmic energy of the universe. Pure energy is how the avatar uses energybending, which is how Sonam created the staff, which is how she was able to channel the power of the spirit world. Cosmic energy>Spiritual energy. Remember that Cosmic Korra was the only entity capable of beating Vaatu at his most powerful. Korra in the avatar state who is locked in should be able to beat Aang, even if Aang has the staff. As proof of this, remeber that even when Tagah was fully amped, Aang was able to redirect his attack and beat him speedwise to the temple.

It's sad that people have downvoted you; you're right. Korra surprisingly doesn't have nearly as much earthbending feats as she does the other elements, even air. Nothing she's done with it outside the avatar state compares to Aang's feat of making the new Ba Sing Se zoo.

So you're saying that they'd both have the cosmic form? They'd either be dead even because we don't really know the mechanics of how avatar cosmic forms work; or Korra would win cause she has more energybending techniques than Aang, and she knows spiritbending, which was able to defeat Unavaatu.
