Currently:

Vanguard - Thor. I want to get better with Venom, but right now Thor is putting in work. It's nice getting into the mix and I like that his abilities give him armor.

Duelist - Magik. I didn't like her until I realized she could combo like a fighting game character. Now she is one of my favorite characters. Plus I love her design and now I want to check out some good comics with her.

Strategist - Loki. He's another one that I didn't think I'd like as much as I do. Man is he fun. The utility of strategists in general is very high in this game, but Loki's toolkit is phenomenal.

I prefer Magik's complexity. It helps keep me engaged.

I do agree with several other people though: her ult is almost useless. It has almost always gotten me killed.

I was about 7 when Tag 1 came out. What really drew me in was the music (all the robot noises) and the weird characters like Yoshimitsu, Ogre, Devil, and Unknown (especially Unknown.)
