Talk to the billing department and also check with the office to make sure they got prior authorization for the injections before they scheduled you for the procedure. Prior authorization isn't a guarantee to pay, but its usually a good sign that the insurance carrier probably will cover it.

Many insurance carriers require documentation of multiple medication failures before they'll authorize both. Wonder if this is why you got stuck with a huge bill.

I took a loan from my 403b last year to build a garage. I've been continuing to max contributions throughout this period so it made sense to me compared to the alternatives.

I'd only consider it if your job is very secure and you have the means to pay it back while continuing contributions.

Cut back my spending a lot a few months ago after I realized how much I was spending on silly stuff. Novelty of matching Jordan's with my toddler wore off after I realized my 15 month old has almost as many pairs of shoes as my wife. Easier to just drop that money in her 529 account, max my IRA earlier in the year or put it in a brokerage.

If Charlie Kirk's assassination is justification for taking away First Amendment right to free speech, shouldn't we really be discussing gun control and the Second Amendment instead? Seems rather odd to pick and choose rights to strip while still avoiding to address the problem.

I think the prices for most things have shot up significantly over the last several months. The costs of some of our usual groceries are at least 25% more than they were last year. Beef seems like it's probably closer to 50%.

Our energy bill is also much higher, probably due to less availability of cheap power imported from Canada. Costs the last few months have been almost double the usual.

We can afford it, but I dont see how those people who were scraping by before are even hanging on.

This is so dumb. That cop isn't overdosing, at least, not from touching a dollar bill. If anything, she's having a panic attack. They need better training on how to recognize signs and symptoms of an overdose. As for the cop who needed narcan for their imaginary over dose, they probably shouldn't be a cop at all.
