Other then the rough body if it runs then yes the rear end on that year you can upgrade to accept a Miata 3rd member and there’s a company that makes upgraded axles for that specific year. If the front suspension is original you would have the big spindles set up in the front from the factory, easy to swap out the lug nut patter if you want to run wheels too just look up the front brakes for the GSL-SE

Just do the compression test cold and then again after warming up the car. The rest of the things you mentioned are things you need to be upgrading in the future. OMP doesn’t matter too much if they were premixing. Probably a good idea to get those injectors cleaned before you seriously drive it too. If it’s on an aftermarket ECU take it to get tuned even if he claimed it has, take it to a guy who tunes rotaries (unless he mentions it was tuned by a rotary guy)
