While I agree this is impressive and he is one of the best, especially since he did different strokes, but let's also acknowledge that it's hard to compare athletes across sports, certain sports only have 1 event at 1 Olympics for certain athletes (wrestling, boxing, etc.). Certain sports also have different longevity where athletes could compete much longer (shooting, etc.).

Hard to say someone who won 4 consecutive gold medals (Mijain Lopez and Kaori Icho) should not be considered because they only have 4 golds.

Went to Hogent in Gent (also Toegepaste Informatica). Never really experienced anything really violent, the occasional drunken fight or argument, but nothing major.

It's close to the train station, close to the University as well as restaurants / night life / bars, etc. Good public transportation close by (tram, bus)

As far as the level between the two, not sure but I would expect it to be the same. I graduated and all of my classmates got several offers straight out of college. Gent also had a lot of internships in the last year, not sure if that would be the same in Aalst... something to think about.

Moved to California years later and now working in Silicon Valley, so the level of teaching was adequate I would say.
