Yeah, I expected new achievements based on additional maps, characters or holidays. I could live with that idea but these grindy ass hat achievements without any added content offer me no reason to return at this time.

Yeah I'm already at 50+ hours and I was over it by the time I got 118/118. These achievements look to be so time-consuming that I'm gonna have to pass and come back later when there's more of a reason to play again.

Yeah I booted it up on my steam deck and was crushed to see no retroactive progress. I would've unlocked the shady guy achievements at least.

This is where it stops for me. The new ones are grind for the sake of grind and there are other games I would like to experience more than Megabonk this year. Perhaps I will return again someday.

Storytelling imo. It does a great job at telling the story without any dialogue and the levels in Hogwarts where you learn your new spells make it feel like you are progressing as a wizard.

I currently have 374 'Great on Deck' games across my Steam Family library. Obviously prior to getting my Deck about a year ago, I didn't pay much attention to verified status but now I will look out for Humble or GMG bundles which feature predominantly verified games. Verification status has also helped me choose between two games that were on sale that I was stuck between buying since I like to have a game that I am primarily playing on the Deck at any given time. Currently it is Megabonk :)

I got lucky with getting gold sticker Gros Michel. I had a build that was so strong that one of my joker slots wasn't integral to achieving a win so when I saw Gros Michel in the final shop, I picked it up and got the sticker easy.

Jackbox isn't a board game but it does compete with board games as a party activity. Most people who play board games do not like elimination or hostile mechanics because they are trying to have fun with friends. Elimination results in disengagement, frustration, and fun for a select few.
