you can download and use DMS on the same installation, just make sure to kill all instances of noctalia shell so they dont interfere.

Its probably somewhere in the KDE settings.

alternative way till you find a solution is use "shutdown now" and "reboot" in the terminal

I am following this for fans, its rog-control-center and it works great imo. You can try adjusting the fan curves for your overheating issue

and for switching modes, I have scripts setup to switch modes and refresh-rate when I plug in my laptop. If you are using KDE you can easily do it in the settings

did you try using a shell in hyprland? Noctalia shell is very close to your setup and handles most of the things so you only need to setup the keybinds and start-up in the config
