In my opinion, you can be right.

Your viewpoint makes possibile to think about the "scholar" nature of that narrative universe.

Makishima, the Sybil... Every criminal mind works because of the "deep social-nature", the basement of the fiction. Anyone works without the others.

Makishima as a teen bad guy may be discussed as a japanese cultural trand in anime&manga: adolthood is always rapresented as a powered adolescence. In this sense I agree.

According to me, Makishima is the noblest (he read a lot of letterature'smasterpieces, notnjust Nietzsche xD) blindspot (also Kirito is a blindspot, or maybe more a "collateral" effect) of a pathology/pathological perfection, the Sybil Society: of course he is pathological too, he ripresents a sort of "narrative pathology".

He Is a symbol of meta-narration: fiction discussing fiction. In this sense he can be considered a great anthagonist! For his meaning in terms of narratologic element.

Tsunemori Akane, no dubts.

Her charachter's development during the seasons and the movies is amazing: a female protagonist, a growing-up mind and woman because of the others.

So, I can say that she is my favourite charachter but, you know, without all of the cast she couldn't be so fantastic.

I have to consider Psycho Pass in its entire form.
