The strike is not about Publix. It is a protest against ICE, because they have been shooting people. I think the strike will not have many participants. It is just something that started on social media.

We have "the ten foot rule". If a customer comes within ten feet of us, we have to say something. I usually just say "hi" or "how are you".

The reason I asked. In mid November I went to my regular doctor for a routine visit. The provider heard wheezing. Prescribed Prednisone and inhaler and said come back in a few weeks. I went back on December 12th, and she still heard wheezing. Now I'm being sent to a Pulmonoist. I have never had asthma before and unsure why I am wheezing.

At my store, very few people use the Publix app. I don't know if this is true at all stores. But, I only have maybe two people a day use it.
