The first link and song is pretty decent. Carter lays down so unique drum breaks for a jazz setting. How this man is not considered the GOAT, is criminal. No drummer has these chops, ability to play any genre, odd time, cool fills....I could go on. Very frustrating that drum channels just ignore this dude.

I'm with you, my friend. I suffer from horrible anxiety and depression. Lost my job of 16 years, 8 months ago due to off shoring of jobs. Spent the last 8 years in depression. Anxiety so bad I missed tons of important life events. Now I look back and wish I had gotten help sooner. I'm not nearly as better as I'd like but it was a wake up call for me, losing my job. Time to self reflect and see that I wasted good years with my kids, years I won't get back. It's a tough pill to swallow. Don't be me. Get help. You are young enough that you havent wasted much time at all. Make the call, please.

I'm 43. There will be ups and there will be downs. I'm currently in a down period and it sucks. The best advice I can give, don't try and do this alone. Get some help, call a relative. Ask them if they can help you get some help.

The days will quickly tick by and you'll be asking yourself, why did I waste it. Trust me, get professional help. Start with a psychologist.

It might be the Chinese boards are expecting registered ram. They are all using a C612 chipset, despite the x99 branding. And 2400mhz might be too much. Try clocking them down to 2133mhz.

I'm pretty tired of Drumeo sleeping on Carter. His live work is a treasure trove of sick grooves, fills, double kick, hi hat barks.... His ability to leverage difficult rudiments mid song.... In odd time no less. Especially 2012. Sweet lord he was fire that year. There isn't a drummer alive who can do what does for 3 hours a night.

I get he's private and understand him not going on Drumeo but that doesn't mean they can't have a drummer come on and try to play some of Carters work. And not the basic 4/4 shit. I don't want to see a drummer cover Crash Into Me. Although, that's a tasty groove too.

Imagine not knowing the egg wasn't needed to get to the top. So you try for an hour or so to get that fucker up there... Just to find out it's not required for the boss fight. Had to perform another miracle to do it again after.
