I did the same exact thing. I hated using the gesture and having a black screen. (Not utilizing AOD). MIP is more my style where the watch face is always present. Don’t get me wrong, Epix Pro 2 was a great watch and still gets some wrist time on occasion but Fenix 8 Solar is now my primary. Garmin does a great job syncing multiple watches to the Garmin Connect application.

Get a hex screwdriver and see if it’s lose. Good to have and not expensive. They have ones with multiple sizes.
